I’ve taken out beef minced out of the freezer into the fridge from last night. I re-posted on FB my short video recipe of Martabak Telur.

Martabak Telur is Indonesian savoury snack, curried minced beef & eggs filling in spring roll pastry. As I made martabak as snack a bit late, so I decided to use half of the martabak filling, which is minced beef for light supper as well. Saw PNP tortilla wrap in the freezer. Hake Slider and Twin Tide with rice takeway

Since I moved to Cape Town nearly twelve years ago, Fishaways is one of my eatery choices at the Cavendish Square food court.

New Brighton Bakery


I’ve heard about New Brighton Bakery in Woodstock and finally went there with a friend just before the Ramadaan. Once you are in Victoria Rd, you probably won’t miss it. Just look for a bright orange building! The parking can be a bit of problem as you know that Woodstock is busy and it’s street parking.  Oh my, as soon as I got in, I forgot about the flashy orange of outer wall as the decor inside was actually quite calming, rustic and hips. Ahhh… traveling, isn’t it one of the best things in life? However, as a mum with 3 young children, I need to pack smartly as we have literally at least 5 luggage among us but.. I still want to feel and look good 🙂
