Kahvé Road

Pineapple, Strawberry, Orange and Mint Fresh Juice, Macaroons and Chocolate BonBon and Nitro Cold Brew Coffee.

Have you gone to Kahvé Road, the new retro chic eatery in Cavendish Square? if you haven’t, I recommend you give Kahvé Road a try.  My recommendation is based on the atmosphere, the journey to the elegant classy decor, the premium coffees, patisseries and gourmet cuisines, the attentive service and the halaal certification! All in one, don’t you think?

Ready for the journey? Let’s start from the beverages.

All the coffee and hot beverages are served on a beautiful wooden tray with water  and a biscotti on the side.  I enjoyed the latte (R29) I ordered. Yet one need to try the Mocha (R30). It consists of Expreso, combine with milk and chocolate bonbon. The chocolate bonbon is served on the side, when you are ready to drink it, you dip the chocolate in… hmmm…

Another unique coffee experience, this time in the cold side is, Nitro Cold Brew Coffee (R40).  It’s 15 hours cold brewed (in house) coffee infused with nitrogen. I love how smooth and creamy it tastes!

Kahvé Road has extensive tea options, including Rooibos Expreso (R27-R32), loose teas and herbal teas (R28).

Milkshakes and Iced Coffees (R33-R49) are also in the menus. Along with fresh juices. I love my Pineapple, Orange, Strawberry and Mint (R45) juice that I ordered, refreshing for sure. Definitely will order the same juice in the future.

Now on the food side of the menu.  I tried their popular Trio of Sliders (R95), consisting of coriander lamb, crumbed chicken and harissa falafel slider. Plus you can choose a side dish you’d like.  I chose the Beetroot and Orange Salad. Wow.. It was delicious!

What’s also nice is that the breakfast menu is served all day. From Croissant Benedict (R98) to Avocado Tahini (R79), to scones, bagel and waffles. Hmm I think from the breakfast menu next time I would try the Waffles!

From the Classics, next time my choice would be Creamy Mushroom Risotto (R135). Open Sandwiches, Soups and Salads (RR69-R139) are also available for lighter options.

There are so many interesting beverages and foods that I would like to try on my next visit.  Bear in mind that as Kahvé Road’s table are limited, it gets full quickly. However the experience worth the wait though.  I would imagine coming here again on a date with hubs, in business and casual meetings.

  1. The Kahvé Experience and Education!!!! Our second visit. As beautiful as the 1st. Perfect breakfast of poached egg and toasted multigrain bread. The sauce. The tomato. And the ULITIMATE. The coffee. A handsome waiter on the side who provides all the info. A return visit a MUST
