Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay)


Indonesian Chicken Satay has a distinct different with Thai or Malaysian satay. Malaysian and Thai peanut sauce are a bit spicy. While Indonesian’s peanut sauce is sweet. We add kecap manis (Indonesian Sweet Soy Sauce) to the peanut sauce and a squeeze of lime, beautiful combination! For those who like it hot, you can add sambal (chili paste) condiment.

While the recipe looks long, don’t hesitate to try. It’s just I typed down all tips and details to make a perfect satay!
